Weekly camp covers various types of shooting:
Shoot in the field archery roving range, bare bow with no sites, learn basic techniques.
Fun Shoots : balloon shoots, animal plate shoots,tic-tac-toe,quick shoots
Advanced archers will be focusing on: Tuning up your form , various techniques including breathing,
timing, preparation, finger & string position, getting into "the moment" of the shot, equipment reviews and why brace height is important.
What to Bring:
Snacks, hat, sunscreen, water, and anything else you feel is necessary.

About:
Basic Archery Camp; all ages 10 and up
Concentrated course covering basics, and suitable for those who have never shot a bow, or those with some previous experience. Class covers: Eye Dominance, Archery safety rules, Warm-up exercises, Archery tackle sized to Archer (all equipment supplied and taught using recurve equipment), Proper shooting techniques -"Basic Steps", Grouping & consistency, scoring.
The focus is on "What happens at the shooting line, controls what happens at the target" If focus and form are correct, the gold will follow.
All safety gear and equipment will be provided. (Bow, arrows, finger tab, arm guard, quiver)
Class "A" June 3-7 Archery Basics Youth Camp 9:30-11:30, M-F; ages 10 & up
Acworth, Kennesaw Archery Club Range, Pitner Road Park
