Weekly camp also covers types of shooting:
Shoot in the field archery roving range, bare bow with no sites, learn basic techniques.
Fun Shoots : balloon shoots, animal plate shoots,tic-tac-toe,quick shoots
Advanced classes also cover: Tuning up your form and various techniques including breathing, timing, preparation,finger & string position, getting into "the moment" of the shot,
why brace height is important .
What to Bring:
Snacks, hat, sunscreen, water, and anything else you feel is necessary.

About:
Basic Archery Camp; all ages 10 and up
Concentrated course covering basics, and suitable for those who have never shot a bow, or those with some previous experience. Class covers: Eye Dominance, Archery safety rules, Warm-up exercises, Archery tackle sized to Archer (all equipment supplied and taught using recurve equipment), Proper shooting techniques -"Basic Steps", Grouping & consistency, scoring.
The focus is on "What happens at the shooting line, controls what happens at the target" If focus and form are correct, the gold will follow.
All safety gear and equipment will be provided. (Bow, arrows, finger tab, arm guard, quiver)
Class "A" June 4-8 Archery Basics Youth Camp 9:30 - 11:30 M-F; ages 10 & up

General Information
Private Lessons
Private Group Sessions:
Minimum 6 students.
Basic group Introductory: Fee is $17 per student paid to the instructor at the beginning of the lesson and lasts a little over an hour.
Extended group Introductory: Fee is $20 total per student paid in cash or check to the instructor at the beginning of the lesson and lasts 2 hours, allowing more shooting time after the initial gear up and basics.
Ongoing Fee is $15 per student paid to the instructor at the beginning of the lesson and lasts an hour
Private Individual Lessons:
Individual Private lessons run $60 per 2 hour session plus range fee per person. Accomodates up to 2 students. Each additional student adds $10 + range fees.
Some one hour sessions can also be schedule after a regular class session. e-mail for details.
